10/12/09 - GRAFTYS announces launch of QUICKSET

Graftys is pleased to announce that it is launching a second injectible and macroporous bone graft substitute: GRAFTYS QUICKSET (CE marked, FDA agreement submitted). This new formulation shares many key features with GRAFTYS HBS, which was launched early 2009 in the USA. In addition to its user-friendly closed mixing/injection system, both are injectible and macroporous, leading to an optimal resorption of the implant and replacement with natural healthy bone, and both offer incremental mechanical resistance capability. QUICKSET provides a shorter working time, added mechanical resistance, and thus expands the list of clinical indications for Graftys bone void fillers in orthopedic and dental applications. Graftys HBS & Graftys Quickset cover a very wide range of surgical requirements.
