10/22/02 - GRAFTYS initiates clinical trial
GRAFTYS has initiated a clinical study designed todemonstrate the effectiveness of a local treatment to prevent osteoporotic fractures.
Evaluation of this prospective, comparative, blinded study will involve safety and
efficacy of a minimally invasive femoroplasty using an injectable and resorbable
bisphosphonateloaded
synthetic bone substitute to prevent contralateral hip fracture after
osteoporotic fracture. The lead investigator is Professor J.N. Argenson, University
